How Goats Help You

Natural Brush-Clearing Experts

Goats love to eat invasive plants, weeds, vines, and overgrowth — even poison ivy — making them perfect for clearing hard-to-maintain or overgrown areas.

Clear Nuisance Weeds Now

Eco-Friendly and Emission-Free

Unlike gas-powered mowers and trimmers, goats do the job with zero emissions, reducing your carbon footprint while restoring your land naturally.

Built-In Fertilizer

As they graze, goats leave behind nutrient-rich droppings that naturally fertilize the soil and promote healthy regrowth — no synthetic chemicals needed.

Quiet and Low Impact

Goats work quietly and gently on the land, making them ideal for residential areas, schools, parks, and environmentally sensitive sites. Plus, they are cute!

Cost-Effective and Efficient

Goats can cover uneven or rocky terrain that machines can’t reach, cutting down on labor and equipment costs while getting the job done effectively.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@wildgrazegoats.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We have multiple goat herd crews and can manage regularly scheduled services, as well as urgent needs.

That depends on the terrain and density of vegetation, but a small herd can clear about 1/4 to 1 acre per day. Larger or heavily overgrown areas may take longer — we’ll provide a custom estimate after evaluating your site.

Goats love to eat a wide variety of vegetation, including brush, weeds, tall grasses, vines, briars, and even poison ivy. They’re especially effective at clearing overgrown areas that are difficult to maintain by traditional means.

Yes! Goats are gentle animals and can be safely used in residential settings. We always provide electric fencing to contain them and we monitor the herd and ensure safety.

Not at all! Our team handles everything, including setup, fencing, herd supervision, and cleanup. You’re welcome to watch them work, but your presence is not required.

We strategically manage the grazing to protect desirable plants. If you have trees, flowers, or areas you'd like protected, just let us know — we’ll fence off sensitive zones.

Goat droppings are small, dry, and odorless. They act as a natural fertilizer, enriching your soil without the need for synthetic chemicals.

Pricing depends on the size of the area, terrain, and how overgrown it is. We offer free consultations and provide transparent quotes tailored to your property.

Absolutely. Our goats provide a 100% natural form of land care — no gas engines, no chemicals, and no noise pollution. It’s a sustainable, green alternative to traditional landscaping.

For maintenance, goats are most effective during the growing season (spring through fall). However, if your goal is to remove an invasive plant or overgrowth area, goats can work in any season!

Yes! Goats are an excellent choice for reducing fire fuel by clearing dry brush and overgrown vegetation, especially on hilly or hard-to-reach terrain.
